Some people don't like snapdragons...perhaps because they've been overused in mall plantings? I like their height and the assortment of flower colors.
I love the colors in this photo of apricot or peach with a true blue. My forget-me-nots first provided the blue followed by the nigella, with the sweet common name love in a mist. One of my favorite spring flowers. I adore the red & white seed pods that follow the flowers. To have this plant, you must sow the seeds...I've never seen plants for sale.
A few of my foxgloves continue on despite the heat.
The parrots feather (Myriophyllum aquaticum) in our fountain has thrived in the newly warmed water. I love the glass float and it was happenstance. I used to have it hanging from the arbor, then the macrame holder disintegrated. I set it in the water for a moment and it has happily bobbed there ever since.
My ten cent goldfish had two babies last summer. I think they are getting ready again! Their tails have fanned into marvelous swirling fantasies. I love watching them.
